This model is equipped with a powerful reliable engine with 74.5 kilowatts or 100 horsepower. Thanks to the high engine power, the telescopic handler is capable of handling loads weighing up to 4000 kilograms. The device is capable of lifting the specified load to a height of 12.5 meters. At full reach, the lift is 16.73 meters. The loader is capable of lifting 600 kilograms to such a height.
The JCB 540-170 is equipped with a special overload and buckling protection system. The LMI load moment indicator warns the operator of possible overload and loss of balance in advance, which avoids accidents and improves work safety.
